Installing KS State Assessment Software - KCA Version 5.2

If a computer already has KCA Assessment software loaded from a prior year, you just need to click on the KCA application icon on the Desktop or to update to the new version. When the program opens you will receive a message that an update is available. It will ask if you want to load it. Click Yes. The update will be downloaded to the computer.
If you have a new computer or your computer has been re-imaged then you will need to follow the attached directions to download and install the program.

The Kansas Computerized Assessment program is designed to meet the requirements of the federal No Child Left Behind act. The KCA project provides not only the online testing interface for students, but online training tools, tutorials, and practice and formative tests for each subject area to educate and prepare school personnel and students for online testing.
